Should Schools Sue Sites that help students?
Online essay sites sell quality essays to students in the country. They do not ask for too much like university lectures. All they want is payment for their services. The question is: Is this ethically right? Is buying an essay a form of cheating?
Well, this is not a new concept. It has been practiced in the country for centuries. Consider the culture of outsourcing among businessmen in the country. They employ workers from overseas to produce goods at low costs.
Today, many Americans are outsourcing their brains. Writing A-level essays, reports, and dissertations and selling them to willing buyers. So, should the schools sue the online college essay writers?
I don’t think they should
Source of Employment
It is obvious that most of these writers come from third world countries. In these places, getting a decent job is difficult. So, they turn to online writing to earn money. The job pays well and they can buy homes and start families. When you sue these online sites, you are signing someone’s death sentence. You are denying a child an opportunity to go to school.
Use the Reference Material Responsibly
The work of the online writer ends when the client receives the written assignment. What the student in a U.S university does with the assignment is up to them. If they decide to use the reference as their own, they should bear the consequences. Schools should not blame the original author when their work appears in some university in U.S.A or England.
Student Moral Compass
It is difficult to assist students who are willing to cheat their way through college. Schools that want to sue online college essay help sites should rethink this move. A student who is willing to jeopardize his or her career by presenting purchased papers needs more help. Maybe students can’t tell the difference between right and wrong. School heads should revisit this topic and help their students.
Rot in the Education System
Let’s be sincere, a cheating student paints a bad picture of the university. Additionally, their cheating shows that there’s a problem with the education system. Maybe, it does not tackle the needs of students. Maybe, it demands too much from students. That would explain why a student would cheat on an assignment. If there is too much emphasis on education, students will do everything in their power to ace their coursework. Reviewing the education system of European countries could be the solution to this growing problem.
Ever considered the fact that some students do not gain from attending lecturers? Today, universities admit so many students that lecture halls cannot hold. In such an environment, some students may not get the feedback that they need. Such students are forced to seek outside help with their assignments.
